Jennifer Laszlo is a certified Divorce Mediator under the California Dispute Resolution Program Act (DRPA) with mediation experience in the Orange County Superior Court. Jennifer graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelor’s degree in Pre-Law. She went on to obtain her post-baccalaureate certificate as a Paralegal, earned accreditation as a Certified Paralegal in November 2014 from National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA), then continued on to earn accreditation as an Advanced Certified Paralegal in Family Law – focusing on Dissolution Case Management from NALA in December 2016.
Jennifer has worked as a paralegal since 2008 and has worked in Family Law since 2010.
She has extensive experience in all aspects of Family Law, including but not limited to divorce, legal separation, child custody and visitation, paternity, spousal support, child support, property division and domestic violence. She has worked on hundreds of divorce and custody cases throughout the years and has assisted many clients through the divorce and paternity process.
After working in Family Law for over 9 years and seeing the impact that litigation can have on families, Jennifer wanted to give families and couples a better alternative to the unsympathetic way of litigation. Seeing mediation as a way for couples to come out of the divorce process “whole” and for families to come out of the process still “intact” as a family unit, Jennifer knew this is where she needed to start. Jennifer seeks to assist couples and families navigate through the otherwise difficult transition of divorce by creating a safe space in which to facilitate communication and co-create a resolution that feels right for everyone involved.
Jennifer is a bonded and registered Legal Document Assistant in both Orange County and Los Angeles County. She volunteers with community non-profit organizations and is currently founding a non-profit of her own.
